My project consists in the analysis of buzzes produced by sperm whales and detected by digital acoustic recording tags (Dtags).
I will integrate the information about depth, 3D movements and acoustic data to explore the characteristics of these specific type of echolocation clicks (buzzes) and to further analyze the differences between the ones produced in the water column and the ones produced on the ocean floor.
